Seton Keough Giving Tree
A bronze “giving tree” is part of the newly updated lobby. The “giving tree” is a place where major donors will receive special recognition for their gifts. Each leaf on the tree is available for a $1,000 donation to the school. Acorns are $5,000 and tree branches are $10,000.

Seton Keough Scrip Program

Seton Keough has joined with Great Lakes Scrip Center to provide families a popular, no hassle, fund raising program. Scrip is a term that means substitute money also known as gift certificates and prepaid cards. You can earn significant tuition reductions by purchasing food, clothing, gasoline, shoes, office supplies, home improvement materials and much more. There are more than 500 participating retailers.

  • Shop for Scrip Online: We now offer online shopping with Scrip. Just go to www.shopwithscrip.com and our enrollment code is: C7B1578486L3, our Coordinator is Brian Zongker bzongker@setonkeough.com and pick up will be in the Business Office on Fridays.
  • Scrip offers a number of cards as reloadable. That means you can order and pay online and the reloaded cards will be ready to use immediately. Any question can go to the Business Office at 410-646-4444.

ATTENTION: IMPORTANT SCRIP NOTICE

  • Effective January 4, 2010 Scrip will be moved into the Business Office. Orders may be placed during normal business hours (8 a.m. to 4 p.m.) each school day. The cut-off for orders is Monday at 9 a.m. and cards will be ready for pick-up Friday morning at 8 a.m.
  • The Bookstore has six $100 Giant Eagle Scrip gift cards in inventory. If you have family member or know of a family that lives in the Frederick area these cards would be a great gift.

The United Way Campaign

Seton Keough is not officially part of the United Way Campaign, however you may donate to Seton Keough through your workplace by writing in Seton Keough and providing the school's Federal Tax ID#: 52-0810937.

Giant A+ BonusBucks
Once again this year we will be participating in the Giant A+ BonusBucks program through Giant Food. By shopping at Giant and designating Seton Keough as the BonusBucks recipient, funds can be raised for the school. You must register with Giant each year. Either go online to: www.giantfood.com/aplus, designate in person at your local Giant, or over the telephone (1-877-275-2758). The Seton Keough ID is: 01561.

EScrip
Seton Keough High School is registered with eScrip. Local retailers that participate in eScrip are Safeway and Macy's. If you register with eScrip and designate Seton Keough a percentage of your purchaes will come back to the school. The school's group ID is 6562965. When you shop at Staples either give them the school's ID#: 0233494202, or even easier, the school's telephone number: (410) 646-4444. Your purchase will be registered with the school's reward program.

Office Depot
Seton Keough also participates in a bonus program with Office Depot. The Seton Keough number for Office Depot is 70046064.

Verizon Velocity

Ink Cartridges and Cell Phone Collection
We have an account with the Funding Factory, which accepts donations of old ink cartridges and cell phones to be turned in for points. These points can be cashed in for computers, printers, and other equipment for the school. If you or your company has ink cartridges or cell phones, we will gratefully take them here at the main office of Seton Keough.

Paper Recycling
This September Seton Keough will begin a recycling program. A large bin will appear near the cross walk between the school and the parking lot. You can deposit magazines, catalogs, paperback books, office paper of any color, envelopes (even those with windows); the only exception is telephone books that cannot be recycled. Seton Keough will be paid by the ton for the materials recycled.
