Requirements:
Seton Keough students must complete three credits in science: Biology, and two other sciences, one of which must be a physical science. Many of our students take four years of science, often taking multiple science classes during their junior or senior years.

Students take this elective concurrently with their core science class. Each year, they take the next level in the course.

How is a student’s placement in Science determined?
The Science Department looks at your daughter’s grades from seventh and eighth grade, and scores on the High School Placement Test (HSPT).

What type of facilities are available in the Science Department?
The Seton Keough Science Department boasts state-of-the art labs. Both the biomedical and engineering classes, as well as biology and physics, are taught in Seton Keough's renovated biomedical and engineering labs. All the science classrooms are equipped with SmartBoard technology and lap top computers.
