Dear Future Gators,
Something wonderful is about to happen. You are on a path to discovering Seton Keough High School. From Caton Avenue, it may look like any other high school, but I assure you that when you walk through the doors you will find a warm and welcoming community. Seton Keough is a school that remains steadfast in its mission of inspiring young women of faith, action, and excellence. The opportunities for academic achievement, community service, faith formation, and leadership provide an experience that is second to none.
In my role, I have the good fortune of meeting many students before they enter as freshmen, and I have the opportunity to work with so many of them during their high school years. Every day, Seton Keough students remind me of the important work the faculty, staff and administration is doing. Our students are the reason we are here, and your success is what motivates us. We share your enthusiasm about your future, both at Seton Keough High School and beyond. Together we are committed to securing Seton Keough’s position as a premier center of secondary education in Baltimore.
Whenever you begin exploring high school, I ask that you remember it is a journey. Choosing high school has changed a lot since my days as a Catholic school student! There are Open Houses, shadow days, High School Fairs, camps, workshops, athletics, performing arts productions and other events for middle-school girls. Savor the journey and take advantage of every opportunity to learn more about your high school options. Talk with students, parents, faculty and graduates, and don’t hesitate to ask questions. This is your experience!
I would encourage you to visit our website frequently for more information. Our website will keep you up to date on important events and deadlines for the Class of 2021 and beyond.
On your first day of school you may be a girl from St. Mark, or Arbutus Middle, or any other of our feeder schools. I promise that on the second day, you will be a Gator! I hope you will join the Seton Keough High School family.
