Welcome to Seton Keough Athletics
he Seton Keough High School athletic tradition is built upon the principle of providing opportunities for young women to become involved in sports, learn teamwork and leadership skills, and achieve their best. Yet despite these humble goals, Seton Keough and its founding schools have been a dominant force in high school athletics in the Baltimore area for decades. Seton Keough has 18 competitive teams in 12 sports.
The Seton Keough High School teams participate in interscholastic contests with other teams representing high schools in the Baltimore area. Only academically eligible students are permitted to try out for any team. The school is a member of the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland (IAAM) League. An annual physical examination is required of all sports participants and must be handed in to the Athletic Director prior to the first day of tryouts.
At the end of each school year, Seton Keough honors its student-athletes. All the achievements from the year are highlighted including the students who received athletic scholarships to college. But the highest honors go to the students who have demonstrated self-less leadership, team spirit, dedication to the school, and academic achievement. In athletics, as in all things at Seton Keough, students are challenged to become women of honor.
