Athletics Information
Gator Highlights 2007 - 2008
Seton Keough's Athletes Accomplished the Following during the 2007-2008 school year:
- Cross Country: ranked #7 by the Baltimore Sun.
- Indoor Track: IAAM Champion, ranked #1 by the Baltimore Sun.
- Basketball: IAAM Second place, ranked #2 by the Baltimore Sun, ranked #2 in the state of Maryland by USA Today.
- Outdoor Track: Finished 2nd in the IAAM Championship, ranked #2 by the Baltimore Sun
- Golf: Finished Second in the IAAM Championship.
Nineteen students were selected to IAAM All-Star teams.
All-Metro, All-City selections:
- Indoor Track Head Coach Jim Lancaster named All-Metro and All-City Coach-of-the-Year.
- Indoor Track: All-Metro Runner-of-the-Year and All-City Runner-of-the-Year: Erin Brooks. All-Metro Second Team: Colleen Shea, All-City First Team: Colleen Shea, Chelsea Tavik and Leila Forrester.
- Basketball: All-City Player-of-the-Year: B.J. Williams. All-Metro First Team: B.J. Williams, Aysa Bussie, and Ayana Lee.
- Outdoor Track: All-Metro Second Team: Erin Brooks. All-City First Team: Leila Forrester, Chelsea Tavik, and Megan Voorhees.
- Softball: All-City First-Team: Stephanie Martin and Taylor Kairos.
- Lacrosee: All-City First-Team: Colleen Shea.
Other Athletic Honors
- Asia Bussie: Baltimore Sun Player-of-the-Week for basketball
- Erin Brooks: Baltimore Sun Player-of-the-Week for indoor track.
- Ayana Lee and Brittany Williams nominated to the McDonald's All-American Team
