Happy New Year Alumnae
Happy New Year Alumnae! It has been one year since we launched Alumlines and we are pleased to report that there has been an excellent response. We have heard from alumnae from all over the country, helped some classmates reunite, and had an increase in attendance at school and alumnae events. Fall of 2008 begins the celebration of Seton Keough’s 20th anniversary and we look forward to the participation of all alumnae. (This month’s issue contains mostly event information and requests for participation. Our other regular features, including alumnae updates and memoriams, will return next month.)

Alumnae Awards to be Established
Planning is underway for Seton Keough’s 20th anniversary, to be celebrated Sept ’08 – May ’09. One aspect of the celebration is the launch of Alumnae Awards. We are looking for alumnae to serve on the selection committee — to help establish criteria, name the award, and evaluate nominations and choose the winners. There will be three alumnae award winners: one from each founding school and one from Seton Keough. Enthusiasm and love for Seton, Keough and Seton Keough is required; Experience with award recipient selection a plus. To volunteer for this committee or for more information, contact Tracey Stone, Alumnae Director, at tstone@setonkeough.com or 410-646-4444 ext 1216.

Keough Alumnae Basketball Game
The Archbishop Keough Alumnae lost to the Seton Keough Faculty/Seton Alumnae team in basketball on January 20, 44-39. Many thanks to everyone who played or came out to support the players. Since there was interest from Seton alumnae this year, we hope that next year we can have a Keough Alumnae vs. Seton Alumnae game. If you are a Seton alumna and would be interested in playing, please contact Sharon Knisely at sharonknisely@comcast.net. Of course, more Keough players are invited as well.
