Marion Glorioso Peterson, S’47
Marion Peterson and her husband Ray are happy to announce that their daughter, Sally Bonefas, has been awarded her Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Immaculata University in Philadelphia, following the completion of her residency at Rowan University Psychological Services and her dissertation, “The Neuropsychological Deficits of Prepubertal Children with Pediatric Bipolar Disorder.” Previously, Sally had completed 28 years in the Harford County School System as a middle and high school teacher and a school counselor.
Jacqueline Wagner Spurrier S’49
I have retired from teaching in the Baltimore Public School system after 40 years teaching kindergarten and first grade. Married to John Spurrier, former U.S. Marshall for the District of Maryland, I have three sons, a lovely daughter-in-law and two granddaughters: a 4th grader at St. Joseph’s Texas and a 7th grader at Notre Dame Prep. John and I are living by Assateague Island where I play golf, enjoy gardening, genealogy, and participate in the Daughters of the Revolution and Colonial Dames activities.
Margaret Lasevich Devoles S'53
Margaret's first novel My Aunt Calls me Saree is now available: I wrote this novel geared to the young adult girl reader. I believe it to be a very wholesome story for a girl in the age 12 and up range (and of course adults have loved it also). I lived in Catonsville and raised my children there before I retired and moved to Wilmington, NC. The town in the story is not mentioned as Catonsville, but I had that in mind and my home when I wrote the story. The book is available from Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Publish America.
Carole LeFaivre Rochester S’54
For more than 23 years Carole was the Editor of Publications at the American Philosophical Society in Philadelphia, retiring in 2001 as Editor Emeritus. In the six years since retirement, Carole has edited Walter Isaacson’s Benjamin Franklin: American Life and Sara Feinstein’s Sunshine, Blossoms and Blood, a biography of the Hebrew national poet, Bialik. She has been on the Society Hill Civic Association Board since 2002. She has been active in local interfaith activities and served as program chair for 3 years for the Parents of North American Israelis. This September Carole became President of the Board of the Philadelphia Jewish Archives Center. Carol lives in Philadelphia and would love to host a gathering of Setonites who live nearby.
Mary Louis Johnson Benish S'55
My husband John and I celebrated our 47th wedding anniversary. We live near Solomons (Calvert County) Md. We have three children and 10 grandchildren and they all live close by. One of our grandsons, Jacob age 12, was diagnosed with Leukemia in January 2007. He is taking treatment and doing very well, but we need prayers for him because he has a long way to go. We thank you. I enjoy spending time with all my family and grandchildren. My years at Seton were very special to me.
Arlene Behler Lohrfink S’57
I am so proud the third generation of my family now attends Seton Keough. What a wonderful gift you offer. I hope more will follow! Thank you all!
Haydee M. Rodriguez S’84

She will identify opportunities for PBS to encourage diversity throughout public television. Kari Yacovissi SK’95
I have a seven-month old baby boy born March 23, 2007, Braden Louis Yacovissi. Braden is the light of my life. I work for NCI Information Systems in Annapolis Junction. I graduated from the University of Baltimore in May 1999 with a bachelors degree in accounting and am working on becoming a CPA.
Jamiel Duvall Meyers SK’98
I married my best friend John C. Meyers on Sept. 8, 2007. I work for Kennedy Krieger Institute-PACT: Helping Children with Special Needs. I have been working for them for about 5 years. I am back in college part-time at the College of Notre Dame to pursue a BA/MAT (Masters in Teaching). I will graduate next fall. My husband and I are planning to move to Tennessee or North Carolina near the Smoky Mountains. Once we move, I plan on returning to college to receive my second BA in Nursing at East Tennessee University.
Ashley Lynn Reaves SK’05
After graduating from Seton Keough, I became a full-time student at Coppin State University. There I made the Dean’s List three out of four semesters. I also had the honor of joining Sigma Tau Delta, the international English honor society….I am most appreciative of Seton Keough whose instructors’ expert tutelage has prepared me well for higher education. I am majoring in English and plan to attend another university to further my education in a masters program in writing. During my junior year, I will participate in an internship geared toward my career goal as a screen writer/novelist.
