It’s hard to believe that another summer is behind us and that school is back in session. What may be harder to believe is that it has been 20 years since Seton and Archbishop Keough High Schools came together to form Seton Keough High School. The entire Seton Keough community will celebrate this milestone with special events and recognitions throughout the year. We hope you will participate whenever you are able. This month’s Alumlines is quite full; please take the time to read it carefully for important dates, requests and information.
Attention SK’08 Alumnae: Your Yearbooks Are In!
If you purchased a yearbook, you may pick it up at the SK Alumnae Association’s booth at Homecoming on Sat., Sept. 27 between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. The booth will be located next to the dunk tank. If you are unable to pick up your book at Homecoming or you still want to purchase one, you may contact Ms. Jessica Vitrano at jvitrano@setonkeough.com to make arrangements.

Any amount of time you can spare is greatly appreciated. Also at Homecoming, Archbishop Keough alumnae are welcomed to visit the Spirit Room and view Keough memorabilia.

How Did Seton Keough Prepare You For Life?
This year as part of Seton Keough’s 20th anniversary celebration, we are planning a display for Open House where we can share quotes from alumnae about how their education at Seton Keough prepared them for life, careers, and adulthood. We will use as many of the quotes as we can on the display, and the rest will be included on anniversary celebration pages of the Seton Keough web site. We plan to display the quotes along with the alumna’s yearbook photo and a current photo as well. Since Seton Keough is based on the educational foundation and traditions of Seton and Archbishop Keough, all alumnae are invited to participate. If you would like to share some of your experience, please send quotes to Tracey Stone, Alumnae Director, at tstone@setonkeough.com. Be sure to include: your name (first-maiden-last); graduation/school year; and your occupation/title/career field along with your quote. Say all that you would like and we will edit for space as necessary. Include a current photo of yourself as well if possible. Deadline: Oct. 10th.
Alumnae Awards
As part of Seton Keough’s 20th anniversary celebrations, we are initiating two new alumnae honors: Athletic Hall of Fame and Distinguished Alumna awards. Both programs are open to Seton, Archbishop Keough, and Seton Keough alumnae. For award criteria and other information, visit the Alumnae page of the Seton Keough web site to view and download nomination forms: Athletic Hall of Fame Nomination Form | Distinguished Alumnae Nomination Form. Please Note: The nomination period for the Athletic Hall of Fame has been extended until December 31 and the nomination form has been revised. If you have already submitted a nomination form, you do not need to re-submit. We will contact you for the additional information. Seton Keough Alumnae License Plates: Introductory Deadline Extended
Show the pride you feel being a graduate of Seton Keough High School with a Seton Keough Alumnae license plate! The Maryland-only license plate will feature a green Seton Keough logo and 4 numbers, with the words "Seton Keough Alumnae" along the bottom. Click here to see Mt. St. Joe's alumni plate as an example. You DO NOT need to renew your vehicle registration in order to get the plates — once you receive your SK plate from MVA, simply return your old plate to them. The price will go up to $40 after the introductory period as a fundraising initiative for The Seton Keough Alumnae Association.
