Theatre

The Seton Keough Theatre Department offers three productions per year: a fall play, a variety show, and a spring musical.

The Theatre Department offers the opportunities to participate in theatre productions for students who have a range of interest from acting, singing, dancing, and music. Students are also involved in lighting and sound production and set design and construction.

Focus on the Arts

Students in the Focus on the Arts program have the opportunity to focus on a specific art area: Visual Arts, Music (instrumental and vocal), Theatre, or Danceā€”or to combine Music, Theatre, and Dance.

Below is the sequence of courses offered in Theatre:

Freshman Year: Introduction to Theater
Sophomore Year: Principles of Acting 1, Introduction to Scene Design
Junior Year: Acting 2, Stage and Production Management
Senior Year: Concentration in Chosen Areas, Audition Prep

Seton Keough's Theatre Department Presents Antigone: Friday, March 17 at 7:30 pm, Saturday, March 18 at 7:30 pm, and Sunday, March 19 at 2 pm. Tickets are $10 each, in advance, and $12 at the door. Videos of the performance are also available for $20. Purchase your tickets and video online today:
